This week Tree Wizard was named Tree Service of the Year for Columbia by the Consumer Ratings Institute. It’s based on customer reviews, so before anything else, I want to say where the credit really belongs.
Thank You, Columbia
First, to our customers. Every one of those reviews came from someone who invited us onto their property, usually on a bad day: a tree on the roof, a limb over the driveway, a storm that hit at 2 a.m. You trusted us with your home and then took the time to write about it. That’s the whole award.
Second, to the crew. The crew in the photo above are the ones who do the work — I still look at every job, but they’re the ones climbing, rigging, running the crane, and raking the yard before we pull out. Recognition like that isn’t one person’s. It’s a hundred jobs where nobody cut a corner.
What Tree Service of the Year Means to Us
When I started Tree Wizard in 2003 as an ISA Certified Arborist, I wanted a tree company that looked at the tree first and decided what it needed — not one that just showed up with a chainsaw and a truck. Twenty-three years later, that’s still the idea. Sometimes what a tree needs is a full tree removal. Sometimes it’s a trim, or nothing at all — our guide to warning signs a tree needs removal covers how I make that call.
The plaque goes on the wall in the shop. Then we go back to work, serving Columbia and the surrounding area the same way we did before the award.
If you’ve got a tree you’re not sure about, we’ll take a look — no charge. Call (573) 442-1838 or request an estimate below.
